There is simply a window.

A window in the heart of Honfleur, behind which you might find bags from Brazil, Peru and Colombia. Or Tanzania, Kenya and Burundi. Coffees that have travelled thousands of kilometres before arriving here.

And when the window opens, that is where our worlds meet.

You stop.
We talk about coffee.
About where it comes from.
About how you drink it.

And perhaps a bag changes hands through the window.

That is Taureau Café.

But our world extends far beyond these few square metres.

You will find our coffees around Honfleur — over breakfast, after dinner, at a comptoir, in a salon, or somewhere you have gone simply to be looked after.

You may see one of our posters before you ever taste our coffee.

You may discover us in a restaurant and later recognise the little bull on a bag in the window.

Or perhaps you simply walk past one morning, stop for a moment, and wonder:

What exactly is this place?

The answer is difficult to put on a sign.

Taureau Café is part coffee, part voyage, part Honfleur, and part all the people and places that have gradually become connected to it.

And it all begins here.
